The 1st stage date has been changed!

The beginning of the 10th season has brought us various challenges, which have forced us to change the venue of the competition for the first time in the history of Stirnu buks. However, these are far from the only changes affecting us in preparation for the new 2023 season.

Respecting our days of remembrance and taking into account that March 25th is the day of remembrance of the victims of the Communist genocide, we have made a decision to move the Sila priežu Stirnu Buks a day later, to March 26th.

Even though we had received the support of the Association “Latvijas Politiski represēto apvienība” (LPRA) for the organization of the event, it was not enough to support the event on March 25th.

We sincerely apologize to all our loyal runners and cooperation partners for the last-minute unplanned change of date, and we really hope that the beasts of our forest will have the opportunity to join us on March 26th for a joint opening of the season. This change will also go down in the history of Stirnu buks as the first stage will take place on Sunday. But is Sunday worse than Saturday? The main thing is that we are together!

Those runners who will not have the opportunity to participate in the Sila priežu Stirnu buks stage on March 26th will have the opportunity to transfer their participation to one of the following Stirnu buks stages. Please contact us personally so we can make changes!
